Presente em Porto Alegre para a cobertura de Inter x Fluminense, o jornalista e apresentador da TV Globo-RJ, Alex Escobar, se mostrou impressionado com o Beira-Rio e com o gramado do estádio colorado. Em vídeo gravado para o seu Instagram, ele apontou que, “seguramente”, é um dos estádios mais lindos do Brasil.
“Eu estou, seguramente, em um dos estádios mais lindos do Brasil. Esse estádio já era bonito antes da reforma da Copa do Mundo, mas ele ficou ainda mais bonito. Pra mim, um dos mais lindos do Brasil. Uma acústica muito boa, um dos melhores gramados… olha esse gramado, de pertinho é impressionante. Com tanto gramado ruim no Brasil, o do Inter é fora de série. Nota 10 mesmo, o que é muito bom para o jogão de logo mais”, declarou Escobar.

Desde cedo já foi possível identificar movimentação de torcedores do Inter nos locais próximos ao Beira-Rio, como o Parque Marinha. A tendência é de quebra de recorde de público do estádio para o jogo das 21h30, contra o Fluminense, valendo vaga na grande decisão da Libertadores de 2023.
